I've just heard there are now seven confirmed cases of Coronavirus here in Corpus Christi. I'm praying to remain calm. I'm editing my manuscript. I'm posting on this blog.
Unsure what else to do, I decided to do something funky.
I made Lemon pudding.
Yes, in the face of a worldwide pandemic, I decided to make single serving sizes of Lemon pudding with my mom.
I'm not usually a sweets person, so this is unusual for me, but oh, the simple pleasures of life.
Besides the pudding, what made it really sweet was that I got to have my pudding with my family.
You can see six little cups in the back, that's how many we made. So, me my mom and nephew each got two.
Warm Lemon pudding with a cup of hot tea - if that's not comfort food, I don't know what is.
Having it with a good old fashioned murder mystery for entertainment was really nice.
If there's one thing good that can come out of all this, maybe it can be that we are all a little nicer to our families, especially our elders.
Just my thoughts for the day.
What are yours?
Let me know. :)
